Hygienic Design
The Kelstream FORCE Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger is designed and produced according the guidelines of the EHEDG, the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group, who set-up criteria for the hygienic design of equipment intended for the processing of food. Its fundamental objective is the prevention of microbial contamination of food products.
(EC Directive 98/37/EC, EN 1672-2 and EN ISO 14159).
Our expertise and experience within this important hygienic environment made our engineers of the Kelstream decide to design a new hygienic scraper blade. This new developed scraper blade offers a minimum surface contact, less product residue and a simple inspect & easy cleaning feature.
